Jata started as a lockdown project in 2020. It was just me in my tiny studio house in Goa, armed with some coconut oil and the will to create something beautiful. How wonderful it is to see how far we have come!
I always experimented with home made beauty products while trying to reduce my plastic usage. And soon, creating gorgeously scented, natural, quality products became my passion. And with your help, I want to grow Jata Soap House into a company that can support as many local women as possible; buying from other small and local businesses; and spreading the love as far as we can reach!
Our hand crafted, artisanal soaps are made with the highest quality oils and butters to cleanse and moisturise your skin. A base of 100% coconut oil produces a strong and super duper lathering bar that can be used on your hands, body, and even as a shampoo!

If you have any questions at all about what is in our soaps, please do get in touch, but all ingredients will be on the packaging.

We are always creating new weird and wonderful recipes and you'll often find some samples in your order which we would love for you to give your feedback on!
